  2. After South Carolina's debate, Mitt Romney gained some ground on Gingrich, but Ginrich still has a strong win. Romney and Gingrich are starting to assault eachother verbaly, romeny calling Gingrich a influence peddler" and mocking Gingrich for saying he advised troubled mortgage giant Freddie Mac as "an historian."

  3. The latest polls show Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich in a close tie. Many Americans beleive the Mitt Romney is out of touch with the American people and no longer knows what middle and lower classes are. While those two fight it out, it is belived that Rick Santorum may make a come back since they recently declared Iowa a virtual tie with Santorum now leading Romney by at least 10 votes. President Obama is struggleing but said to make a turn around, his approval rating is now 40-45%, his dissaproval is 47%. I beleive Rick Santorum is the best GOP candidate.

  4. Romney had another debate with Gingrich in which he attacked him relentlesly. This raise questions if Gingrich could even defend himself against his rival.

  5. Mitt Romney attacked surging conservative Newt Gingrich in a Florida debate and prepared to face questions Tuesday about his tax returns being released under pressure in a crucial week for the Republican presidential race.Gingrich, who also came under criticism from rivals Rick Santorum and Ron Paul, tried to remain calm and exude a presidential demeanor as polls show his campaign strengthening after his victory in last week's South Carolina primary.

  6. How can Obama demand 1% pay "their fair share??" Paying $6 million in 1 year in taxes in absurd, and he's not the top earner in America. He pays more in 1 year than most people make in a lifetime. You can't complain about 14% tax on him because his money was made in investments. Investing money is more of a risk so it should be taxed lower. If your unhappy about your tax rate, start investing your own money

  7. I learned that Gingrich is still a lying name calling angry man. He lied about Obama doing nothing with Iran. Just because he can't put on the front page of every newspaper what the administration is doing does not mean he's weak. He's just not a blow hard who starts wars that are paid for with young middle class (mostly) lives as the Republicans are so fond of doing.

  8. The GOP race is really close. Thanks to the South Carolina debate, Romney got an edge on Gingrich. But the two are still basically at a tie. The both of them are taking shots at each other. I concur that Romney will be the best candidate for the GOP.

  10. The GOP race shows Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich in a close tie. Rick Santorum is not happy and is saying that the media had prematurely narrowed it down to a two-person race. Newt and Mitt are taking shots at eachother. However, Romney has not yet released his tax returns. Critics are asking if he will release the last 12 years like his father but Romney says no.

  11. The GOP race is narrowing down to two major candidates(which Rick Santorum is getting all sensitive about), and with this come more heated debates. The focus of the last debate was definitely on Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich. Mitt Romney was relentlessly attacking Newt Gingrich for most of the debate. I think that the GOP race is getting off the topic of issues and onto the topic of its candidates past discrepancies. Although I think we should base our opinions of the candidates on their values and their history, their vision for the future and views on key issues is more important in selecting a Republican candidate for the upcoming election.

  12. They were constantly going back and forth.Mitt Romney kept attacking Gingrich through the entire night.Mitt Romney could answer questions fluently about sales tax. While those two fight it out, it is belived that Rick Santorum may make a come back since they recently declared Iowa a virtual tie with Santorum now leading Romney by at least 10 votes.

  14. After the South Carolina debate, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich are in a close tie. Gingrich won the South Carolina primary with 40% of the votes even after the scandal with his second wife was brought to light. It looks like the rest of the GOP race is between Romney and Gingrich.

  15. After a week of faltering answers, Mitt Romney managed to give a fluid response to questions about his tax returns, just one day before he was scheduled to release them. The multi-millionaire calmly answered a series of questions about his financial documentation, acknowledging his wealth but then pivoting to discuss overhauling America's tax policy. He also seemed prepared for a question that seemed to fluster him in a previous matchup.

  16. Mitt Romney launched an unrelenting attack against Gingrich and kept at it for much of the evening. They were going back and forth for much of the night. Romney and Gingrich had a long back-and-forth over the former speaker's consulting record with Freddie Mac, the audience's silence made it more difficult to divine who won the round.

  22. Mitt and Newt are pretty much the only ones who are actually fighting for the vote. They seem to care the most, but they also are fighting with the worst tactics.

  23. The candidates mostly went back and fourth between Newt and Gengrich. They argued a lot, made stupid comments, made themselves look like fools a lot, and had to be policed like elementary children. The only difference about this debate was that the audience was asked to stay silent.

  28. The GOP race presents Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney in close pretenses. However, Rick Santorum is upset and claims that the race was prematurely narrowed to a "two-person" race due to the media. Mitt and Newt are conflicting with each other, although Mitt has not yet released his tax returns. Newt Gingrich is an angry, two-faced man...

  36. After the intense South Carolina debate, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich are close to a tie. The candidates are to interested in crushing their opponets. They are barely talking about the points that should be important to talk about such as how they would fix our economy or wordly issues.
