The material in these websites is very good. Allthough it didnot show a whole lot of how it effects us today. It gave many examples ofeffects from the colonies and such. There was one website that had great examples though so it balanced out. The Federalist party was the first political party in the united states and its probably the most important. It supports the division of power and thats very much needed especially with a federal goverment as strong as ours. Federalism is a very good idea and its probably the reason the U.S is the most powerful in the world. I like the idea of checks and balances seen in federalism. If it was up to me id say more power to the states because it seems common sense runs more in local goverment than it does in national goverment.
